SV	Toen zeide Saul: Aldus zult gijlieden tot David zeggen: De koning heeft geen lust aan den bruidschat, maar aan honderd voorhuiden der Filistijnen, opdat men zich wreke aan des konings vijanden. Want Saul dacht David te vellen door de hand der Filistijnen.
WLC	וַיֹּ֨אמֶר שָׁא֜וּל כֹּֽה־תֹאמְר֣וּ לְדָוִ֗ד אֵֽין־חֵ֤פֶץ לַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ בְּמֹ֔הַר כִּ֗י בְּמֵאָה֙ עָרְלֹ֣ות פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים לְהִנָּקֵ֖ם בְּאֹיְבֵ֣י הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וְשָׁא֣וּל חָשַׁ֔ב לְהַפִּ֥יל אֶת־דָּוִ֖ד בְּיַד־פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃
Trans.	wayyō’mer šā’ûl kōh-ṯō’mərû ləḏāwiḏ ’ên-ḥēfeṣ lammeleḵə bəmōhar kî bəmē’â ‘ārəlwōṯ pəlišətîm ləhinnāqēm bə’ōyəḇê hammeleḵə wəšā’ûl ḥāšaḇ ləhapîl ’eṯ-dāwiḏ bəyaḏ-pəlišətîm:

AC	כה ויאמר שאול כה תאמרו לדוד אין חפץ למלך במהר כי במאה ערלות פלשתים להנקם באיבי המלך ושאול חשב להפיל את דוד ביד פלשתים
ASV	And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king's enemies. Now Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.
BE	And Saul said, Then say to David, The king has no desire for any bride-price, but only for the private parts of a hundred Philistines so that the king may get the better of his haters. But it was in Saul's mind that David might come to his end by the hands of the Philistines.
Darby	And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David: The king does not desire any dowry, but a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king's enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.
ELB05	Da sprach Saul: So sollt ihr zu David sagen: Der König hat kein Begehr nach einer Heiratsgabe, sondern nach hundert Vorhäuten der Philister, um sich an den Feinden des Königs zu rächen. Saul aber gedachte David durch die Hand der Philister zu fällen.
LSG	Saül dit: Vous parlerez ainsi à David: Le roi ne demande point de dot; mais il désire cent prépuces de Philistins, pour être vengé de ses ennemis. Saül avait le dessein de faire tomber David entre les mains des Philistins.
Sch	Saul sprach: So saget zu David: Der König begehrt keine Morgengabe, sondern nur hundert Vorhäute von Philistern, um sich an des Königs Feinden zu rächen; aber Saul trachtete darnach, David durch der Philister Hand zu fällen.
